I see myself as a very privileged facilitator, working with you to achieve your goals. I value each person as an individual with unique needs. And so, I look forward to working with whatever you wish to bring that is important to you.
A main focus in my work is respect and understanding. When we feel respected and understood in a relationship, we can then grow into the person that we hope to become.
As an active commitment in offering you the very best service, I believe strongly in pursuing my own ongoing learning. I am currently in the final stage of completing a masters degree in counselling and psychotherapy for qualified counsellors.
I am passionate about the work we do together, and I feel honoured to have witnessed the positive changes in the lives of the people I have worked with.
I work with individuals over the age of 16, and have experience in working with a broad range of issues. These include anxiety, panic attacks, trauma, abuse, depression, stress, PTSD, OCD, anger management, eating disorders, family and relationship issues, bereavement and loss. I also have particular understanding, training, and experience in working with people from the Christian faith community.
I am a registered member of BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and adhere to their code of ethics.
